The parish of Camacha, in Madeira, is preparing to celebrate two religious feasts with a program running from August 28 to 31.
The feast of the Blessed Sacrament begins with an outdoor mass at Rochão on August 28, followed by an evening mass on Saturday, August 29. The highlight of the feast will be on Sunday, August 30, with a mass at 4 PM and a procession.
On Monday, August 31, the Camacha church will host the feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, known as the Girls' Feast, with mass and procession at 7 PM.
Both celebrations include musical entertainment with local and invited groups, including artists from the Canary Islands, and the traditional 'fogo preso' pilgrimage.
