A Royal Canadian Air Force Boeing C-17 Globemaster landed this afternoon at Madeira Airport. The aircraft, originating from Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto, remained in the region for approximately 40 minutes.
The reason for the stopover is unknown, but the plane took off for Marrakech, Morocco. This model is one of the world's largest military cargo planes, with a capacity of 77 tons and capable of transporting vehicles, helicopters, and troops.
