CDS Madeira Highlights Very Positive Results from First Year in Regional Government

CDS Madeira considers its participation in the Regional Government, during this first year of the legislature, has generated very positive economic and social results.

The Regional Council of CDS Madeira has assessed its participation in the Regional Government as "very positive," highlighting the good results achieved by public policies in the island's economic and social growth.

The party claims to have been "the guarantor of political stability and governability," influencing policies that led to tax reductions, increased income, and improved quality of life. Measures cited include a rise in the minimum wage, reduced IRS and IRC rates, lower VAT on essential goods, and enhanced support for businesses and workers.

CDS also mentioned the launch of a contingency plan for the energy crisis, investments in port modernization, the hiring of nurses, and increased home care resources. The party also expressed a commitment to prioritizing affordable housing construction and salary increases above inflation.
