The Madeira Chemistry Center (CQM) is organizing the 31st edition of the "Chemistry is Fun®" initiative on November 26th and 27th. This event, over three decades old, aims to bring the scientific research developed at CQM closer to the community.
Part of the National Week of Science and Technology – Ciência Viva, the initiative uses interactive laboratory experiments to show how science helps understand the world and face challenges in health, food, and the sea. The project targets children and young people, from preschool to secondary school, and is also open to the general public.
This edition will also feature the Doctoral Projects Workshop, aimed at secondary, vocational, and university students. Participation is free but requires mandatory pre-registration by November 23rd. Places are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
