Weather forecasts for Madeira this Thursday indicate generally very cloudy skies, although with good clear spells on the southern slopes.
According to the Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), light showers are expected, generally weak, and more frequent on the northern slopes and in the highlands. Winds will be light to moderate from the North/Northeast, potentially strong with gusts on the eastern and western extremities of the island and in high areas.
The IPMA anticipates a slight temperature drop, more pronounced in the maximum temperatures in the highlands. Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 27°C in Madeira and 26°C in Porto Santo, with lows of 22°C and 21°C, respectively. In Funchal, skies are expected to be partly cloudy with a decrease in maximum temperature.
