Funchal Municipal Assembly councilors Luís Filipe Santos and Jorge Afonso Freitas have publicly denounced the degraded state of the pavement on Caminho da Achada.
In a press release, the councilors presented photographs illustrating visible cracks, subsidences, and deteriorated sections, particularly near manholes and drainage grates. They warned that these issues pose a risk to the safety of pedestrians and drivers.
Santos and Freitas urged the Funchal Municipal Assembly to undertake prompt action and implement a lasting solution for the road's pavement, beyond mere localized repairs.
