Diaspora Counselors Visit Funchal Museum of Sacred Art

Madeiran diaspora counselors visited the Museum of Sacred Art in Funchal.

The visit, led by museum director Graça Alves, allowed representatives of Madeirans abroad to engage with the island's religious, heritage, and artistic legacy.

Established in 1955, the museum is renowned for its collection of Flemish painting and sculpture from the 15th and 16th centuries, alongside Portuguese paintings from the 16th to 18th centuries, and a recent addition of Orthodox icons.
