The Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture, through the Regional Directorate for Culture, is presenting the work 'Vultos do Passado' by António Marques da Silva today, July 29th, at 3:00 PM, in the auditorium of the Frederico de Freitas House-Museum.
Part of the 'Cadernos Madeirenses' collection (Series II, Volume V), the book compiles 45 memorialist texts and chronicles dedicated to figures who shaped Madeira's history and the author's journey. The work revisits texts mostly published between 1954 and 1978 in the Jornal da Madeira.
The event will be attended by the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture, Eduardo Jesus, and aims to value Madeira's documentary and bibliographic heritage.
