Expo Porto Santo 2026 has opened at the Porto Santo Multipurpose Pavilion, bringing together local businesses, institutions, and producers.
José António Castro, president of the Porto Santo Association of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism (AICTPS), expressed satisfaction with the initial attendance, attributing the success to the organization's work and the quality of the exhibitors. "We have improved significantly from last year, particularly in gastronomy and crafts. It's an event that is here to stay, but with quality," he stated.
The future goal is to prioritize growth in quality over quantity. The entertainment program highlights regional artists, with a visit from Regional Secretary Pedro Rodrigues and a Portuguese Air Force conference, featuring an F-16 flight simulator, scheduled for Saturday.
