A fire broke out in the Graça area of Santo António, Funchal, and is demanding the commitment of several fire departments in its combat.
A helicopter has been used to make water drops on the flames. Although the fire is not threatening nearby residences, there is concern about its potential spread. The PSP is also present at the scene providing support.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation in the affected area.
