IHM – Investimentos Habitacionais da Madeira, under the Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure, will present the Jardins+Nossos project tomorrow, September 29th.
This initiative aims for environmental enhancement, community participation, and the reformulation of public spaces. The project begins with an intervention in the garden of the Nazaré neighborhood, located between Rua do Brasil and Rua da Venezuela.
The project stems from the need for integrated intervention in green spaces, combined with the vision of Júnio Jardim, a young Biology student who proposed transforming the garden into a public oasis featuring endemic species from the Region. Partners in this initiative include the Institute for Forests and Nature Conservation (IFCN) and the Parish Council of São Martinho.
