Funchal City Council launches 'urban monsters' collection campaign in July

The Funchal City Council (CMF) began, last Saturday, another campaign to collect 'urban monsters', as is customary in July.

The initiative, promoted by the Environment Department and carried out in collaboration with the ten Parish Councils of Funchal, aims to bring services closer to the population and publicize the campaign.

Residents interested in disposing of bulky items, such as refrigerators, mattresses, or washing machines, should contact their Parish Council to schedule a collection. Items should be placed outside, near the residence or close to the main road, to facilitate removal.

The campaign has a specific schedule by parish: July 11th in São Martinho and São Pedro; July 18th in Santo António and São Roque; and July 25th in Santa Maria Maior, São Gonçalo, and Sé.
