The Funchal Municipal Council (CMF) has confirmed that the new bus stop in the Largo do Pelourinho area will be equipped with necessary passenger shelters.
The equipment has been ordered in a timely manner, and the council is awaiting its installation. The CMF is also monitoring the introduction of new BUS lanes within the city.
Furthermore, the CMF president addressed the issue of unpleasant odors at the Lazareto Wastewater Treatment Plant, stating that a study is underway to find solutions for the problem, which occurs during the removal of residual sludge.
