The Funchal City Council is organizing the II Municipal Action for Health and Well-being Promotion on Wednesday, July 29. The event will take place between 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM in the Funchal Municipal Assembly Hall.
The meeting aims to reinforce the role of municipalities in creating healthier communities, bringing together local government representatives and specialists. The goal is to foster reflection and the sharing of experiences on health and well-being promotion policies and strategies.
Objectives include dialogue on the importance of local government in citizen health, sharing best practices, and encouraging inter-institutional partnerships. The opening session will be chaired by Councilor Helena Leal, followed by a panel with parish council presidents and an ANAFRE Madeira coordinator. A debate period will also be held.
