A proposal to revise the social housing allocation regulation, presented by the Socialist Party (PS) councilor in the Funchal Municipal Chamber (CMF), was unanimously approved at the council meeting held this Thursday.
Rui Caetano believes the review is necessary because the current regulation dates back to 2017 and is out of step with current reality, citing rising housing and rental prices, increased cost of living, and changes in household composition as factors justifying the rule update.
