The Funchal Municipal Chamber will build a new space for the scouting associations of Madeira. The announcement was made by the mayor, Jorge Carvalho, during the celebrations for the 113th anniversary of the Association of Scouts of Portugal.
The future environmental training center will be located in the Funchal Ecological Park. The aim is to provide a venue for all scout groups wishing to have nature experiences and go camping.
