Porto Moniz: Six Families Receive New Homes Funded by PRR

Six Madeiran families are set to receive the keys to new homes in Porto Moniz this Monday, constructed under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).

The handover ceremony is scheduled for 4:00 PM and will be attended by the President of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque. The new residential building, located in Sítio da Vila, comprises six units, including two T1 (one-bedroom) and four T2 (two-bedroom) apartments.

The project represented an investment of approximately one million euros, including VAT, funded by the Regional Government and Investimentos Habitacionais da Madeira (IHM). The building features heat pumps, solar panels, and covered parking.

With these six new homes, the total number of houses delivered to Madeiran families with PRR support reaches 569. Another 239 units are still pending delivery, out of a total of 808 new homes planned for the region.
