A video of a police chase, allegedly taking place last night on the Estrada Monumental in Funchal, is being widely shared on social media.
The footage shows a PSP motorcycle pursuing another motorbike in the Lido area, heading from Funchal towards Câmara de Lobos. After a few hundred metres, the pursued vehicle turns left and changes direction, heading back towards Funchal. The high speed of the two vehicles drew the attention of people on the road, some of whom filmed the moment.
