The Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) forecasts a very cloudy holiday in Madeira, with more frequent showers on the northern slopes and highlands of the island.
Wind will be light to moderate from the north/northeast, potentially blowing stronger in the highlands and eastern and western extremities. Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 28°C, with lows of 23°C.
The capital, Funchal, anticipates very cloudy skies and the possibility of light showers. Sea conditions will feature northeast waves of 1 to 2 meters on the north coast and around 1 meter on the south coast. Sea water temperature will be around 24-25°C.
