IFCN Conducts Cleanup of Pedestrian Paths in Rabaçal

The Institute of Forests and Nature Conservation (IFCN) continues cleaning and maintaining paths in Rabaçal, including the PR6 Levada das 25 Fontes area.

Teams from the Institute of Forests and Nature Conservation (IFCN) are carrying out cleaning and maintenance work on the network of pedestrian routes in the Rabaçal area, including in the vicinity of PR6 Levada das 25 Fontes.

According to the IFCN, the high demand for this natural area requires constant monitoring and regular interventions, both along the trails and in the surrounding areas and less visible locations. The work aims to maintain the area, reduce waste, and preserve the environmental and landscape quality of Rabaçal, one of Madeira's most visited natural sites.

The Institute also appeals to visitors not to leave waste in nature and to take all garbage produced during their visit with them.
