Gonçalo Maia Camelo, a deputy for Madeira with the Liberal Initiative (IL), is participating in the party's Parliamentary Days held in Porto.
The event aims to deepen proposals and discuss reforms to strengthen the country's competitiveness, improve public service quality, and promote more efficient use of resources. Panels on State Reform and Tax Reform are scheduled, along with a hospital visit.
Camelo emphasized the need to discuss postponed structural reforms, arguing that state reform should focus on improving service quality and efficiency, not just cutting expenses. Tax reform, he stated, should simplify the system and encourage investment and employment.
