The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) forecasts periods of heavy cloudiness for the Madeira archipelago this Sunday, August 2nd.
Winds will generally be light, below 20 km/h, from the North quadrant. In the highlands of Madeira Island, winds may blow moderately, between 15 and 30 km/h, from the West quadrant.
Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 27 degrees Celsius on both Madeira Island and Porto Santo. The South coast and mountainous regions of Madeira are under a yellow alert for hot weather, which remains in effect until Tuesday, August 4th.
