This Saturday, the island of Madeira experienced high temperatures, with thermometers approaching 30ºC in various locations.
According to data from the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), at 2 PM, Pico do Arieiro and Prazeres recorded 29.8ºC, followed by Pico Alto with 29.6ºC and Chão do Areeiro with 28.8ºC. Funchal/Observatory registered 27.4ºC and Porto Moniz 27.1ºC.
The hot weather scenario, which remains under a yellow warning until Monday, suggests that hot days will continue in Madeira, with values that could again approach or even exceed 30ºC.
