The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) anticipates a hot Saturday in Madeira, with generally partly cloudy skies. Winds will be light from the northeast, below 20 km/h.
Maximum temperatures on the island of Madeira are expected to reach 29°C, with a minimum of 22°C. In Porto Santo, the forecast highs are 27°C and lows of 20°C.
The yellow warning for hot weather, issued by the IPMA, has been extended until 10 PM on Sunday, August 2nd, covering the South Coast and Mountainous Regions.
