The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) has extended the weather warnings for hot conditions across the Madeira archipelago.
The southern coast of Madeira island and its mountainous regions remain under a yellow warning until 6 PM on Sunday, August 2nd, due to persistent high maximum temperatures.
The Regional Civil Protection Service has also issued an alert regarding the heat, dry weather, and increased risk of rural fires, particularly during the Madeira Rally.
