The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) has extended the yellow warning for hot weather in the mountainous regions of Madeira.
The warning, initially set to end at 6 PM on Thursday, has been prolonged and will be in effect from 3 AM on Friday, July 29th, until 6 PM on Monday, August 1st. This extension is due to the forecast of continued high maximum temperatures in these areas of the Region.
