A large tree branch fell this morning from a tree in Santa Luzia Garden, Funchal, an area often frequented by children.
The incident occurred when no one was present, resulting in no injuries or significant damage. Normal weather conditions raise the possibility that the tree may be affected by disease, a concern previously voiced by a regular visitor to the garden.
