The LGBTQIA+ Pride March returns to the streets of Funchal next Saturday, September 26, as part of the Madeira Pride 2026 celebrations. Under the slogan "The world we want starts here!", the initiative aims to promote the visibility and rights of LGBTQIA+ people.
The gathering is scheduled for 4:30 PM at Largo do Município, with the march beginning at 5:00 PM. The route will conclude near the Legislative Assembly of Madeira, where a manifesto will be read and official speeches will be delivered.
The program continues at 6:00 PM at Largo do Socorro with the Arraial Madeira Pride 2026, featuring performances by various artists and entertainment, concluding the day's events.
