The Lobo Marinho ferry will undergo an extraordinary repair to its propulsion system between October 15 and 22, requiring it to be placed in a dry dock in the Canary Islands.
This decision follows a breakdown recorded on September 10. After a technical assessment, an operation in a shipyard with a dry dock was deemed necessary, chosen for its geographical proximity to minimize downtime.
During the interruption, Porto Santo Line will charter a container ship for the island's weekly supply and offer 100 daily seats on Binter flights for residents, along with options for booking changes or refunds.
