The Regional Secretary for Inclusion, Work and Youth, Paula Margarido, visited the Lugar da Serra Community Centre in Campanário.
"Community centres are spaces for proximity, meeting, and relationship building. They bring generations together, help combat isolation, and allow us to better understand the needs of each community," stated Margarido.
The centre, inaugurated in 2002, has 39 adults and 25 children and young people registered. Its intervention is based on partnerships with other entities and tailoring initiatives to local needs, with projects like 'More Community' and 'Health and Well-being First'.
