Starting Monday, August 10th, maximum fuel prices in the Autonomous Region of Madeira will see distinct variations. Petrol will become cheaper by 1.1 cents, costing 1.873 euros per litre.
Conversely, diesel will increase by 2.7 cents, nearing the 2 euro mark and settling at 1.977 euros per litre. This marks the sixth consecutive week of price hikes for diesel.
Regardless of these fluctuations, potentially influenced by Middle East conflicts, driving adjustments can help reduce monthly fuel expenses. Smoother driving, avoiding abrupt acceleration and hard braking, can decrease consumption by 10% to 30%.
