The Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection, through SESARAM's Nutrition Service, is developing a mobile application aimed at strengthening education for healthy eating habits.
The tool, currently in the final stages of development, seeks to translate scientific knowledge into practical, everyday solutions for the residents of Madeira.
The announcement was made by the regional secretary during the opening of World Food Day celebrations at the Mercado dos Lavradores. Micaela Freitas emphasized the significance of nutrition as a cornerstone of public health, a key factor in disease prevention, and a central element in promoting quality of life.
