The Autonomous Region of Madeira has launched the 'Energy Efficiency 2030' (SIEED) incentive system, providing approximately €11.8 million to support small, medium, and large companies in improving their energy performance.
Managed by the Business Development Institute (IDE) under the Madeira 2030 Program, the initiative funds equipment modernization, building energy rehabilitation, installation of renewable energy systems for self-consumption, and monitoring solutions. Support can reach €300,000 per project, or €450,000 for tourism sector companies, covering up to 50% of eligible expenses.
Regional Secretary for Economy, José Manuel Rodrigues, highlighted that this program aims to support productive investment, modernization, and competitiveness of Madeiran businesses, accelerating the energy transition and contributing to regional and European climate goals. Applications are open until September 10th.
