The Regional Secretary for Inclusion, Labour, and Youth, Paula Margarido, presided over the signing ceremony for six new Incentive Concession Contracts (CCI) under the Program for the Creation and Consolidation of Companies and Employment (CRIEE). These contracts will enable the creation of seven new jobs in the region.
The supported projects represent a total investment of €220,053.68 and cover the municipalities of Funchal, Machico, Santa Cruz, and Calheta. The areas of activity are diversifying, including engineering, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and computer programming, in addition to traditional sectors like hospitality and tourism.
Since 2015, CRIEE has supported 614 entrepreneurs, contributing to the creation of 1,015 jobs, with an accumulated public investment exceeding €11.29 million. Paula Margarido emphasized the importance of continuing to support those facing unemployment, transforming difficulties into business and skilled employment opportunities.
