The 'Madeira Now' publication has announced the availability of free copies of previous editions. These are shop returns, with some having been in stock for nearly a year.
Free copies can be collected from the Tourist Board office in the airport arrivals hall and the main tourist office on Avenida Arriaga in Funchal. Those in the Calheta area can contact the publication to arrange a meeting point.
Beyond the discounts offered through a card valid until the end of September at around 320 establishments, the publication is packed with information about the island. A new discount card is expected in December.
