The Municipality of Santa Cruz will suspend the authorization of new Local Accommodation (AL) registrations in the county starting October 19th. This measure aims to allow for the development of a new municipal regulation for the activity.
The municipality has also opened a 30-working-day public participation period. During this time, citizens, property owners, and other interested parties can submit contributions and suggestions for defining the rules that will govern AL in the Santa Cruz territory. The suspension of new registrations may last for a maximum of one year, until the new regulation comes into effect. Submissions can be made via a request addressed to the Mayor, through a form on the municipal website, by email, or in person.
