The Madeira Regional Delegation (DRM) of the Portuguese Psychologists Association (OPP) will mark National Psychologist Day with a discussion titled “Being a psychologist in times of transformation.” The event, taking place in Funchal on September 4th, will bring together several professionals to debate the challenges and transformations shaping the present and future of Psychology.
The initiative will be held in the Municipal Assembly Hall of the Funchal City Council, with reception starting at 9:30 AM and the discussion running from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The meeting aims to foster reflection on the evolution of psychological practice, new professional challenges, and the role of psychologists in various contexts.
The debate will feature psychologists Ana Lúcia Faria, Cristina Andrade Aguiar, Fabíola Mano, Lisandra Fernandes Dias, and Nuno Rodrigues, moderated by journalist Romina Barreto. The opening session will include councilwoman Helena Leal and the president of the DRM's Board, Ana Paula Alves.
