#Vibes4U NoDrugs Project Enhances Alcohol and Drug Prevention at São Vicente Festival

The Regional Health Directorate (DRS), through its Operational Unit for Intervention in Addictive Behaviors and Dependencies (UCAD), is conducting a prevention initiative during the São Vicente Festivities.

Part of the #Vibes4U NoDrugs project, the campaign aims to inform festival-goers about the dangers of excessive alcohol consumption and illicit substances in party settings. The intervention utilizes a peer education model, with young university volunteers providing practical advice.

This effort is integrated into the broader '+ Summer ... No Drugs' campaign, which aims to bolster risk behavior prevention at major summer events across the region, in collaboration with the São José Cluny Nursing School, the University of Madeira, and the Public Security Police (PSP).
