The PSD Parliamentary Group, together with JSD Madeira, marked International Youth Day with an initiative focused on youth participation and regional policies.
Deputy Bruno Melim emphasized that investing in youth means creating conditions for their personal and professional fulfillment, encouraging a more participatory generation aware of its social responsibilities. He highlighted housing as a priority, mentioning the regional investment in affordable and controlled-cost housing.
Melim also clarified access to the Insular Student Program, assuring that placement in higher education outside the Region does not prevent young people from benefiting from travel support upon presenting specific documents. The goal, according to the deputy, is to clear up doubts and ensure Madeiran youth have opportunities to study, work, and build their future on the island.
