The Santa Cruz Municipal Council has begun signing support contracts for the associative movement, covering sports, religion, culture, social, and education sectors.
This year's total investment amounts to 361,000 euros, allocated across 80 projects from 48 entities. The council highlights this as the "largest annual investment in the last decade."
Since 2017, Santa Cruz municipality has had regulations in place to support associativism, aiming for fairer, more equitable, and transparent public funding. The Municipal Council stresses that these supports reflect the value placed on associativism and its recognized importance for the Santa Cruz region.
