The Madeira International Ship Register (MAR) has strengthened its presence in the German maritime market with the inauguration of a new European MAR office in Hamburg on September 17.
This initiative aims to deepen MAR's connection with one of Europe's key maritime communities, bringing the Madeiran registry closer to German shipowners and major maritime industry players.
MAR has experienced significant growth, registering 1,264 commercial vessels by the end of the first half of 2026, making it the third-largest international ship register in the European Union.
