The island of Madeira has been selected to host the official announcement and award ceremony for the Green Key 2026 accolades.
The event is scheduled for tomorrow, July 9th, at 11 AM, taking place at Quinta Magnólia. It is organized by the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment, and Culture, in partnership with the Blue Flag Association for Environment and Education (ABAEE). The ceremony will bring together representatives from the tourism sector, public entities, and partners involved in environmental sustainability. The President of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque, will attend.
