The Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, José Manuel Fernandes, will be in Madeira next Friday, July 17. The visit was organized at the invitation of the Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Fisheries, Nuno Maciel.
The minister's schedule includes a visit to the Funchal Fish Market at 9:00 AM, where he will observe a swordfish fishing boat. Later, at 11:30 AM, José Manuel Fernandes will tour the GESBA Processing Center in São Martinho.
The visit concludes at 5:00 PM in Santa do Porto Moniz with the official opening of the 69th Madeira Agricultural Fair.
