A motorcyclist was injured on Friday afternoon after a crash on Rua do Marquês do Funchal, in front of the Judicial Court of the Madeira District in Funchal.
PSP officers and a team from the Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters attended the scene. After receiving initial care, the motorcyclist was transported to the Emergency Department of Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital.
Firefighter sources indicated a suspicion that the motorcyclist may have suffered a stroke (AVC), which could have been the reason for the accident.
