The EB1/PE school in Lombada, Ponta do Sol, welcomed the environmental education activity 'Mystery of Nature'. The initiative, led by biologist Catarina Varatojo from SPEA Madeira, was part of the 2026/2027 Environmental Education Program.
The activity aimed to provide 1st Cycle students with a moment of discovery and learning about biodiversity, habitat preservation, and species protection. It also sought to stimulate scientific curiosity and reflection on the relationship between humans and the environment, reinforcing ecological awareness.
This educational action, adapted for different age groups, aligns with the school's Educational Project principles, emphasizing education for sustainability and active citizenship. The EB1/PE school thanked the biologist and SPEA Madeira for their contribution.
