A new multifunctional space will be created in the area where Cristiano Ronaldo was born, intended for residents of Santo António and visitors.
The initiative was announced by Marcelo Gouveia, president of the Parish Council, on the 460th anniversary of the parish. The Pico dos Barcelos viewpoint will be transferred to the Parish Council's jurisdiction, fulfilling a previous promise.
This viewpoint will become a source of revenue for Santo António, with the creation of new attractions. Project details and the transfer method are yet to be defined.
