Regional Secretary for Inclusion, Labor, and Youth, Paula Margarido, represented the President of the Regional Government at the presentation of the book "Regional Finances and Financial Autonomy of the Autonomous Regions", authored by Filipa Rubina Freitas.
Margarido emphasized that financial autonomy is a pillar of Political Autonomy, as only with adequate financial instruments can a Region fully exercise its powers. The official praised the work for presenting concrete proposals for the evolution of the Law on Finances of the Autonomous Regions, considering it a contribution to the improvement of the Portuguese autonomous model.
