The Pestana Group inaugurated its 18th unit in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, Pestana Dunas in Porto Santo, increasing its capacity in the archipelago to 3,600 rooms.
Paulo Prada, a group administrator, indicated that Madeira is not a priority market for current growth, but assured that the company will remain attentive to good business opportunities in the archipelago.
Pestana Dunas, a 218-room eco-resort, is aimed at families and has a second expansion phase approved, contingent on destination conditions, particularly air connectivity.
