The historic Quinta Torrinha, located in Santa Luzia, Funchal, has been listed for sale at 7.6 million euros, one of the highest prices currently demanded for a property on the island of Madeira.
The property, dating back to 1896, underwent rehabilitation between 2020 and 2022 by Swiss investors, with a project representing a private investment of approximately 7.5 million euros. The estate, which continues to operate as a luxury tourist accommodation, blends classic architectural elements with contemporary technology and features eight suites, three luxury apartments, a garden suite, and a studio, along with a heated pool, jacuzzi, and Turkish bath.
The listing of the quinta on the market, with a price close to its rehabilitation investment, reflects the current valuation of restored historic properties adapted for luxury tourism in Madeira. The estate covers over 640 square meters of built area and approximately 3,000 square meters of gardens, offering views over the Funchal bay.
