The Regional Roads Directorate has announced that the Pontinha Tunnel, on the ER116 (VE3), will be temporarily closed.
The closure will take place in the early hours of October 20th, 2026, starting at 00:00 and ending at 06:00. The interruption is for maintenance work.
The Regional Roads Directorate advises users to follow the signage in place and apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
